Jake Simpson, his family Karen, Adrian, Brodie and Connor, as well as friends Melissa Hollman and Keiron Goltz embarked on a fun-filled adventure to Port Douglas on 28.12.15. The first day was spent taking in the beautiful scenery, from the lush forests to the pristine beaches and the winding roads in between. Once settling in, the first adventure was snorkeling at Green Island which was an absolute blast. After some much needed napping and a day trip to Cairns, the group set off to tackle the ziplining safari experience in Daintree Forest. Although the steep terrain and challenging climb meant Jakey was unable to participate in the ziplining itself, Karen and Jake had a relaxing break while the rest of the crew spun around in harnesses, taking in the breathtaking view of the Great Barrier Reef and the forest itself. Melissa and Keiron then snuck off to get snake tattoos for Jake and surprised him later that night The final day was spent white water rafting which was a highlight for the family, not only because of the adrenaline rush but also because of the precious time together laughing. Overall, the trip created numerous beautiful memories that the Simpson family, Melissa and Keiron will treasure always.
